Pork Bellies is a new BBQ focused sandwich shop in Venice on Abbot Kinney. Its a small place but they are making every inch work. From the coke freestyle machine to the BQQ pit they have in the back. Sandwich wise I would stick to trying a BBQ sandwich first. Their chopped brisket is a awesome sandwich. Brioche bun, slaw and chopped brisket in sauce. Its a really good sandwich. Their pork belly is also on the same bun with slaw and was good but it had a few over done parts. I am sure that was just a one time mistake. Otherwise it was a great sandwich also. I didn't try their signature fried pickles so I cant offer you any insights into that (I didnt know) Oh and be on the lookout for a surprise when you unwrap your sandwich! 1146 Abbot Kinney Blvd Venice, CA 90291
