Hache LA Opens in Silverlake Today.

HACHÉ LA the newest burger spot of burger genius Michael Schepers (aka Mick) opens today in Silverlake. For those not familiar with Mick he owns what is arguably one of Southern California's best burger spots in Mick's Karma Bar in Irvine. But what makes Hache special? Well Mick grinds fresh sirloin steaks for the patties continuously throughout the day.
The differences between Silverlake and Irvine aren't that huge. Both have parking (an important factor for Mick.) Silverlake is quite a bit larger with a full kitchen. A lot of the basic menu from Karma Bar is at Hache with the only difference being the meat itself. The signature burgers are the habanero with feta and habanero and the Karma burger (I am thinking a Hache burger may be coming soon) which with its thousand island sauce the comparisons to In -N- Out are bound to happen.  Just make sure when you do try Hache to get a signature strawberry basil lemonade.
