Sealegs Wine Bar is a place for wine, chatting, and small plates. With its owners being a pair of entrepreneurial women the place is unsurprisingly popular with women. Recently Sealegs got a revamped menu and as a guy in his 20's I found plenty I liked. The most interesting dish Sealegs has is the quinoa crab fried "rice". Its the first preparation of quinoa I have ever found edible. A mix of carrots, spring onions, crab and quinoa with a fried egg makes this a dish that may confuse your taste buds, is it health food or fusion? Another new dish is the pork belly sliders. Topped with a pineapple mango chutney (think salsa) its quite a twist on the usual slider. Last but not least the Stinky fries aren't part of the new menu but they are a can't skip item here. Cheese and truffle oil make a amazing sauce for topping house cut fries. Cheeze Whiz has nothing on Sealegs.
