Mauro's Cafe at Fred Segal is having a special from 6- 10 on Thursdays. For 55 dollars you can try the new tasting menu they are working on. You get 5-6 courses and its a quiet relaxing spot on the usually hectic Melrose. They have their own free parking lot which is rare for the area. Last time I was there I saw Kiefer Sutherland. Heres a few possible items but they change the menu every week. The menu is driven by whats fresh and in season. Oh and if the Short rib gnocchi is an option you need to get it.
