Creamistry Cerritos just opened. Its the first franchise for this about to be rapidly expanding chain. Expect to see them a lot of places soon (cough cough Rowland Heights.) For those who don't know Creamistry is a liquid nitrogen based build your own ice cream parlour. You pick a base, fillings, toppings and your ice cream is made instantly. With the use of liquid nitrogen ice crystals don't get the chance to form (if done properly) and you get a luscious creamy product. I suggest getting the cookies and cream with half cookies. The texture of the fresh cookies gives it a great mouthfeel. Base wise you have quite a few options but Straus dairy is amazing (thats the organic option) and I will always go with them.
